Before you start

- Your nationality, employment and background information
Each traveller needs a separate application, including children. A parent or guardian must provide details for applicants under 18.
Include the machine-readable zone
Make sure the two lines of letters, numbers and chevrons at the bottom of the passport page are fully visible and in focus.
Take a suitable face photo
Face the camera against a plain, light background. Keep your full head visible, use even lighting and remove other people or objects from the frame.
